THE VIBES ARE HERE

Akron’s first-ever reggae festival, Rasta Vibe Fest ‘26, is set to bring two unforgettable days of music, culture, and community to Lock 3 in the heart of downtown Akron. Presented by the City of Akron in collaboration with Nappy Grooves Entertainment, this vibrant celebration takes place June12th and June 13th, uniting people through the universal language of reggae.
Friday evening kicks off with festival host and resident DJ Ace Epps setting the tone with authentic reggae selections, followed by powerful live performances from Jah Messengers and local favorites Umojah Nation. Guests can enjoy a curated selection of food vendors while soaking in an evening filled with live roots music and positive vibrations.
Saturday begins at 12 PM with a ceremonial drum circle, opening a full day dedicated to reggae music, cultural awareness, and community connection. Ace Epps returns to provide the soundtrack throughout the day, leading into an exciting evening lineup. At 7 PM, 12 O'Clock Tribe takes the stage, followed by an electrifying performance from internationally known artist Mighty Mystic. With local vendors, flavorful food, and enriching cultural experiences, Rasta Vibe Fest ‘26 is truly a celebration of good vibes—for the people, by the people.
